As she reads she will learn to sequence events, make predictions based on illustrations, and identify main ideas. Your student will practice using color words as she creates a chart, writes a description, and drafts a story. In addition, she will review the names, shapes, and sounds of the letters s, m, and rand will identify words that begin with each sound.
Handwriting is introduced in this unit. Your student will review the proper writing positions and learn about good writing habits.
